I'm Marissa, the proud owner and lead makeup artist at Makeup by Marissa. I'm thrilled to introduce myself and share a bit about my journey, passion, and the values that drive my work.

I graduated in 2010 from Makeup Designory, the top makeup artist school in the world, where I finished at the top of my class. Since then, I have dedicated my career to building Makeup by Marissa, a woman-owned small business that has grown through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to my clients.

My expertise spans various facets of makeup artistry, including work in movies, video productions, stage performances, as well as specializing in glamorous and bridal makeup. I have had the privilege of working with countless clients, each with their own unique vision. My greatest joy comes from listening to their desires and bringing those visions to life with precision and care.

As a wife and mother of three wonderful boys, and coming from a large family myself, I understand the importance of patience, understanding, and kindness. These values are at the core of my approach, ensuring that every client feels comfortable, valued, and beautiful.

Originally born in California but raised in Atlanta, I bring a blend of West Coast creativity and Southern hospitality to my work. I am passionate about enhancing natural beauty and making every client feel confident and radiant.

I am deeply grateful for the trust and support of my clients over the years, and I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service and artistry.
